For comparison, first is Fedora, second is Debian, same settings with Liberation sans 11 the default font for everything.

While I am applying the same settings, the fonts in Fedora are obviously much more blured than in Debian. Way too blured for my liking. What is the difference and what should I do to change?

I find fonts in Debian to be very pleasing (and with the big PPI screen even antialias is pleasant), and I would like to make the fonts in Fedora look the same.
